Video games

This image shows how distracting video games can be, and their affect on others. Video distract people, and affect their work performance. As you can see, this can greatly affect your co-workers or you boss. Video games are a great way to pass the time, but should not poke their heads outside of your home.

I know a lot of friends that would call in sick to work or skip school if a halo2 tournament was being held. It seems that todays generation has redirected their priorities which will only end up in more mindless couch potatoe seshes. New systems are so visually stimulating I can see how easy it is to get sucked into a game.

I love this picture because it's exactly how I feel about people who are constantly engrossed in video games. I can almost imagine the man in the background yelling about how it's going to rot his brain. The gamer even has that wide-eyed dumb look on his face, the effect of never moving one's head from the TV.

It is pretty comical. I would love to be an avid gamer, but I cannot part with using my time more effectively. Most of my friends are coming to the same realization that gaming time could have been better utilized. I have even seen my fellow co-workers' performance diminish because they would spend most of their time on gaming websites.

This is very true. I can relate sometimes when I play games for hours then realize that I just wasted all my time on something almost pointless. I am not as bad as most people, but sometimes I wish I could get those hours of my life that I wasted back and use them on something more useful.

I am sad to say that I once was engulfed into the addicting world of video games. It basically took up all my free time as kept wanting to rush home to finish or reach a new level. It's hard not to stuck into a game that you enjoy so much. I believe that in a way video games do further educate and enhance one's abilities such as learning history and background about the war, most importantly improving dexterity and reflexes. All in all, I believe video games are a great way to educate the minds but at the same time it has the ability to destroy a mind.
