Benetton Marketing Campaign Ad
United Colors of Benetton is a global company with headquaters in Italy. Their business is apparel clothing and perfumes, but has also ventured in F1 racing back in the 90's. However, the company have been famous for stirring debate with it's ads. One of those ads is the following. Comment on it and take into account cultural and historical contexts. Hope you enjoy it!!!

The ad is definately an attention getter. What message were they trying to convey? From the looks fo their website, they seem to be a very trendy and stylish company. I feel that the ad doesn't reflect the company at all.
We are all the same on the inside. It doesn't matter if what color skin we have if we all have the same chance at heart disease or lung cancer.
Indeed we are the same on the inside despite our color and backgrounds. We are connected together whether we like it or not.
