Is MS Paint just as good as Photoshop?

Who would have known MS paint is just as good as those 500 dollar programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Paintshop Pro. Only since I have watched this video, I always thought MS paint was just a simple drawing program that does mediocre enhancements. This goes to show you that you don’t need a 500 dollar program to show off the artistic side of yourself. I must admit that I do own one of the professional drawing programs; however none of my pictures turn out like what you have just seen. It goes to show to never underestimate the power of MS paint, yet the functionality and features seem simple it can still pack a mean punch!

That is freakin' awesome! The guy that did that must have had a lot of time on his hands. I never knew MS paint had such potential!

Wow, this video is insane. I always thought of MS paint as a simple tool that you could just play around with when you were bored or do simple editing. I showed this video to my graphic desing roomate and he was throughly impressed. It is amazing what you can do with such a simple program.

I have seen stuff like this before, but in the one I saw the guy recreated the Mona lisa in MS paint. I could not believe the drawing talent of some of these artists. I wonder if they uses this to demonstrate their capabilities for a job interview I know I would. It seems with so many graphics artists using the power of programs such as adobe photoshop, we begin to forget the true hand drawn graphic arts,
