How can humor increase sales?

Instead of listing out its specifications this commercial uses humor to help promote its newest machine out in Thailand. I believe it's an effective way hopefully stimulating the crowd to get this bike rather than just pointing out it's specifications. After watching this commercial I can see how Thailand have a ton of these bikes on the street.
