I saw a news report on public pay phones and I was surprised that some businesses and counties don't want to get rid of them. Those pay phones are probably still somehow providing a profit or customer value.
I believe this is very true. I can't remember the last time that I used a pay phone or even thought about using a pay phone. With cell phone services becoming cheaper and more affordable it seems that in a few more years pay phones will be something that kids these days wouldn't even know they ever existed. I can't wait to see what new technological advances can change the way we live our lives.
I really do see the vultures circling the few pay phones left. Those days are over. I remember having to memorize every phone number I knew so I could call them at a pay phone when the time was needed. I worry about poor superman, who will no longer have a place to inconspicuously change from Clark Kent. O pay phones, this world was cruel to you , and now I wish you to go in peace, and leave us be
I also agree that pay phones are becoming obsolete duly because of the cellphone market. Also I see it as a inconvenience to use pay phones because so many people today are always on the go, they do not have time to stand and talk to a client. Then again pay phones will always exist because there might be a time where your phone runs out of battery and you are stuck on the highway.
