Advertising gone to far?

This is a video showing part of a news clip on CNN about the bomb scare in Boston that happened early this year. This turned out to be a marketing campaign that evoked the wrong reaction. To promote a show on Adult Swim cartoon network the Turner Broadcast network placed several light up 'Mooninites' around the city of Boston, which people figured to be bombs. This incident got maybe more publicity than it thought with news networks everywhere covering the potential bomb scare. This is a good example of a visual publicity stunt that got the attention of millions.
